Season two of And Just Like That… is all set to hit the screens. The spinoff of the iconic show, Sex And The City got some major love from fans, old and new. Their love for Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda showed us how much of an impact this show has had on this generation. Recently, Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the lead role of Carrie Bradshaw, shared a glimpse of season two’s script on Instagram as the cast and crew geared up to start production. And just like that, this Instagram post left fans in a total frenzy.
So, for all the lovers of this show, here is everything you need to expect from season two of And Just Like That....
The Trio Will Be Back
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will be returning as Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda in season two. While they each have their own interesting story arcs, we are super excited to see where the next season leads them.
Season Two Will Pick Up From Three Weeks After The Finale
The first episode of season two will be continuing three weeks after the finale episode. The last episode ends with Carrie kissing her podcast producer, Franklin, so it’s safe to say that he will be very much present in the next season.
Still No Samantha Jones
Sadly, our favourite squad member, Samantha Jones, played by Kim Cattrall is still not part of the spin-off series. Cattrall has publicly shared that she has no intentions of coming to the show and reprising her iconic role. While Samantha won’t be present in New York, she will still be mentioned in the show.
Aiden Shaw Will Be Making An Appearance
Probably our favourite boyfriend from Carrie’s long list of lovers, Aiden Shaw, played by John Corbett will be returning to season two of And Just Like That…. While we don’t have much information about if the old pair will be reuniting in the upcoming season, it is safe to say that we are very excited to see our favourite furniture designer come back to the show.
Miranda Will Be In LA
In the last season, we saw that Miranda decided to not only bring back her signature ginger hair but also follow her heart and decided to go to Los Angeles to be with her partner, Che Diaz, played by Sara Ramirez.
To Release In Summer 2023
The cast and crew have already begun preparing to start production of season two in October since the actors have also had their first table run of the season. The show will then be ready to release in the summer of 2023.
