You Need To Try Margot Robbie’s Pre-Red Carpet Smoothie

Australian superstar Margot Robbie may have one of the most fantastic figures in Hollywood, but her approach to diet and fitness is a lot more laid back than we would’ve imagined. The Suicide Squad actress, while preparing for her upcoming role as Barbie, revealed a few of her health, fitness and wellness secrets and, according to her, it’s all about moderation. Read on to learn how to make a Margot Robbie-inspired smoothie.

Robbie knows the importance of a well-balanced diet. “Breakfast is usually porridge, and during the morning I’ll have an immunity-boosting smoothie,” she said about her morning fuel-up routine. ‘I’ll normally have a chicken salad for lunch, and for dinner I’ll tuck into a tuna steak with sweet potato.“

When prepping for a movie role, Robbie prefers to keep it clean and simple. For breakfast she usually pairs a bowl of oats with an immune-boosting berry and kale apple smoothie.

So, what exactly is in this balanced berry and kale apple smoothie? You can also add a satisfying protein element to this recipe, so that it can be eaten as a standalone, or you can opt to leave it out and have it with a balanced bowl of oats.

Robbie’s Wellness Philosophy

We love the star’s balanced lifestyle and her zen approach to wellness. She opts for healthier meal options most of the time, but will indulge without any guilt when dining out. Her go-to? A burger and fries.

She also tends to avoid the gym, favouring outdoor activities like playing tennis with friends, or group classes like Pilates. The star understands that finding activities you love is the simplest way to make a habit stick.

“When I’m not preparing for a role, I prefer to do workouts I really like, such as dance classes or playing tennis with friends,” she explains. The star is also a fan of a very L.A. kind of workout. “[I] really got into Pilates when I moved to L.A. [in 2013] and always feel a lot better after a good stretch.”

The Wolf Of Wall Street actress also prioritises getting in some beauty sleep, an underrated wellness MVP that should be in everyone’s playbook.
