With the 2024 award season officially underway, the Golden Globes red carpet delivered a slew of incredible style moves from our favourite celebrities and their mighty styling teams.
From Taylor Swift to Emily Blunt, Jennifer Lopez and Margot Robbie, this year’s red carpet looks were full of bold experimentation and breathtaking moments.
Rosamund Pike chanelled a “weird funeral vibe” (her words!) in a black gown from Dior’s F/W 2019 collection, complete with a lace headpiece reportedly provided by Philip Treacy.
Hunter Schafer continued to prove that nobody is even close to touching her when it comes to red carpet style in a custom Prada gown that made her look like an ethereal otherworldly being. Billie Eilish made an iconic appearance in a Willy Chavarria set comprised of an oversized black blazer and beige pleated skirt. Past Lives star Greta Lee’s Loewe gown won major points for its cool back details and Taylor Swift looked stunning in a shimmering, slinky Gucci gown.
Margot Robbie reminded everyone that Barbie fever is alive and well in a custom Giorgio Armani gown that was inspired by the 1977 SuperStar Barbie.
Schiaparelli regined supreme on the red carpet with celebrities like Natasha Lyonne, Dua Lipa and Carey Mulligan rocking iconic pieces from the design house.
Then there were those who decided to match with the red carpet, making red one of the most popular colours at the Golden Globes. Some of the best ones included Danielle Brooks’s red Moschino gown, Ayo Edebiri’s Prada gown with a train, Julianne Moore’s structured Bottega Veneta gown, Florence Pugh’s sheer Valentino gown and Barry Koeghan’s Louis Vuitton suit.
Like Koeghan, other men on the red carpet brought their A-game. Timothee Chalamet looked stunning in his Celine ensemble and Lenny Kravitz made us covet the gorgeous Alexander McQueen jumpsuit.
Here are some of our favourite red carpet looks from the 2024 Golden Globe awards…
