5 Whisky Cocktail Recipes To Try At Home

Whisky Cocktail

1. Coral Smoke

Ingredients

  • 60ml Grant’s TripleWood Whisky
  • 30ml Grenadine Syrup
  • 15ml Lemon Juice
  • 5-6 Curry Leaves, slightly torched

Method:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add ice, whisky, grenadine syrup, lemon juice and shake well.
  2. Pour over ice in a whisky glass.
  3. Garnish with 3-4 sprigs of torched curry leaves.

2. Boulevardier

Ingredients

  • 45ml Monkey Shoulder Whisky
  • 30ml Sweet vermouth
  • 30ml Campari
  • Orange Zest

Method:

  1. Add 45ml of whisky, sweet vermouth and Campari to a mixing glass.
  2. Add cold, dry ice and stir.
  3. Once dilution is reached, strain into a glass.
  4. Garnish with orange zest.

3. Show Me The Money

Ingredients

  • 50ml Monkey Shoulder Whisky
  • 20ml Drambuie
  • 80ml Pressed Apple Juice
  • 6–8 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • Orange Slice

Method:

  1. Shake 50ml of whisky, Drambuie, apple juice and mint leaves together.
  2. Strain into a tall ice-filled glass.
  3. Garnish with the orange slice and mint leaves.

4. Peach Affair

Ingredients

  • 60ml Grant’s TripleWood
  • 1/2 bar spoons of Grenadine Syrup
  • 30ml Lemon Juice
  • 30ml Peach Syrup
  • 2-3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
  • Star Anise

Method:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add ice, whisky, lemon juice, peach syrup and shake well.
  2. Double strain into a whisky glass over ice.
  3. Pour grenadine syrup and let it settle at the bottom of the glass.
  4. Add 2-3 dashes with Angostura Bitters.
  5. Garnish with a star anise.

5. Espresso Martini

Ingredients

  • 40ml Monkey Shoulder Whisky
  • 30ml Espresso
  • Dash of Sugar Syrup
  • 3 Coffee Beans

Method:

  1. Add 40ml of whisky, espresso and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake very hard.
  3. Strain into a martini glass.
  4. Garnish with three coffee beans.
