From Kim Kardashian To Bella Hadid, Here Are All The 2022 MET Gala Looks That Took Our Breath Away

Finally, the 2022 MET Gala is back on the first Monday of May after a long wait. The ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’ themed gala was pushed to September due to covid. One of the biggest nights in the fashion industry, part two of the exhibit, ‘In America: An Anthology of Fashion’, curated by Andrew Bolton, will take an in-depth look at American style and history.
But, better than that, this year’s Costume Institute Gala is hosted by the iconic power couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds as well as Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Regina King. The theme ‘Gilded Glamour’ is inspired by ‘The Gilded Age’, which spanned from 1870 to 1890, and denotes a time of growth, prosperity, and industrialization. Staying true to the theme, we saw a lot of decorative details, ruffles, and fringe.
From Blake Lively’s Statue Of Liberty-inspired Versace gown to Kim Kardashian’s iconic Marilyn Monroe ‘Happy Birthday Mr. President’ dress, here are some of the most iconic styles that ruled the MET carpet.
