F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers (2021)

The Japanese manga series Hana Tori Dango has been remade in several languages, including Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. The popularity of the series led to a Thai remake as well. In the show, Gorya, a girl from a less affluent family, gets accepted into a prestigious school, which is ruled by a group of four rich and spoiled boys who call themselves F4. The story follows what happens when an unsuspecting Gorya crosses paths with the F4 and feelings and drama ensue.

Girl From Nowhere (2018)

The thriller series follows Nanno, a mysterious student, who enrols at different prestigious schools across Thailand and exposes the dark and grisly lies, hypocrisy, and other wrongdoings of the faculty members and students. The unconventional drama got so popular that Netflix commissioned a second season of the show for its platform.

2Gether (2020)

Also known as Because We Belong Together, the romantic comedy drama is one of the most popular BL dramas of all time and follows student Tine Teeoakorn who asks his school’s most popular guy Sarawat to be his fake boyfriend in order to shake off a persistent admirer. While Sarawat agrees reluctantly to the scheme, they end up getting closer to each other and inevitably develop feelings. The show became so popular that it led to another season and a movie.
