Our favourite Guardians Of The Galaxy are back and right in time for the festive season—and this time, they will be in ugly Christmas sweaters. Marvel Studios just dropped the trailer of The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and it’s the perfect gift for every MCU fan. The Disney+ special takes us right through the aftermath of the Infinity War, as Star-Lord copes with Gamora’s disappearance. As the team tries to cheer him up, they decide to make a trip to Planet Earth to indulge in some Christmas cheer.
The trailer truly melted our hearts as we saw the mighty guardians try to look for the perfect gift for Peter and up making some special memories that they will never forget. With a cameo of the “Legendary Kevin Bacon”, the movie is set to bring in superhero joy this holiday season. It will be releasing on November 25, 2022, on Disney+.
The writer-director of the film, James Gunn, who is currently in news for becoming Marvel’s rival, DC Comics’ CEO along with Peter Safran, shared that we will be receiving some major holiday goodness from the Guardians who have “very little understanding of what Christmas actually is because they are in outer space.” Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has completed filming and is now gearing up for its release on May 5, 2023.
