The Kardashians
Fans of Keeping Up With the Kardashians would know how obsessed the Kardashian clan is with salads. But if you’ve ever wondered what’s in those salad bowls, it’s an ultra-filling Chinese Chicken salad from LA-based eatery The Health Nut. If you want to recreate it at home, you’ll need a mix of hand-torn red cabbage, lettuce, shredded chicken breast, pickled ginger, and carrots. The key to this Kardashian Konstant is the salad dressing. It’s an apple-cider-vinegar-based dressing flavored with sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, onion, sesame seeds, and sugar. All you need to do is take all the ingredients, add the dressing and toss it until everything is mixed well together. Top it with some dry chowmein noodles and you’re done.

Madhuri Dixit
This Bollywood veteran’s favourite salad is an Italian-style Caprese salad made with tomatoes, basil leaves, and mozzarella cheese. Madhuri Dixit’s way of eating it is genius and efficient as she likes to divide the salad into bite sized offerings, with one of each ingredient skewered on individual toothpicks. She drizzles balsamic vinegar to give the salad a slight kick.

Chrissy Teigen’s special hack involves toasting the walnuts, throwing them in maple syrup and then tossing them through a spice mixture of cayenne pepper, ginger, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. This gives the walnuts a sweet and salty flavour that adds a lot of value to this salad.

Kate Hudson
The classic rom-com icon calls this salad her favourite meal to eat in Summer. She calls it her “one-point wonder” recipe and says you don’t need to worry about the measurements of any ingredient, aside from the olive oil and agave for the dressing, because that’s where “your calories and points go”. You can serve it in a bowl or create individual skewers with the dressing drizzled on top.
