All eyes had been on Louis Vuitton and its newest menswear creative director Pharrell Williams to see where the singer-producer-designer will steer the iconic French luxury house and it seems we have our long-awaited answer now.
Williams showcased his SS24 collection for Louis Vuitton on Tuesday in Paris, paying tribute to his predecessor, the late designer Virgil Abloh, and setting a new course for the luxury label.
The guests gathered at the Pont Neuf bridge in Paris were treated to a celebration of joy and love, in Williams’ own words, as they witnessed his collection inspired by the art and legacy of Louis Vuitton. The designer put his own spin on the iconic LV Damier chessboard pattern and bridged the gap between the old and the new.
Amongst the attendees were some of our favourite celebrities, including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Megan Thee Stallion, Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, Jackson Wang, Jared Leto, Lewis Hamilton, J Blavin, Jaden Smith, and Law Roach (to name a few!). Williams’ designer and artist friends, like JW Anderson, Nigo, Jeremy Scott, Nicholas Ghesquiére, and Takashi Murakami were also spotted in the front row.
Take a look at who all attended Williams’ debut LV showcase in Paris…
