At this point, Zendaya making jaws drop with her red carpet appearances shouldn’t come as a surprise. The actress has been delivering one iconic look after the other for the global press tour and premieres of Dune: Part Two. However, Zendaya managed to serve yet another look that has sent the Internet into a tizzy at the London premiere of the movie when she walked in wearing a stunning silver suit of armour.
The futuristic suit of armour is from Thierry Mugler’s Fall-Winter 1995-96 collection. The shiny silver suit had strategically placed cut-outs on the arms, cest, midriff, thigh, butt, knees and calves.
While the original look had featured the model on the runway accessorised with a matching headpiece and a sheer black cape, Zendaya’s stylist and frequent collaborator Law Roach chose a Bulgari necklace and a pair of matching molten silver gloves for the look.
The actress kept her make-up glowey and minimal and opted for a low bun.
Mugler’s suit of armour was known as ‘Machinenmensch’ or ‘Machine Human’ and was designed over six months in collaboration with artist Jean-Jacques Urcun.
