Anne Hathaway is on a roll when it comes to delivering one showstopping red carpet look after the other. The actress recently took on the sheer clothing trend that’s becoming popular with style It Girls and wore a see-through gown at the 73rd Berlinale International Film Festival.
Hathaway (and her stylist Erin Walsh) chose a Valentino column dress with countless sheer panels. Each sheer, mesh panel was decorated with tiny polka dots and connected with black bows.
The actress, who was attending the premiere of She Came To Me, wore a neutral-toned bodysuit underneath the dress. She kept the accessories minimal with just a pair of diamond drop earrings and elbow-length opera gloves.
This was not the first look from the event that caught the attention of fashion enthusiasts around the world. Earlier that day, the Devil Wears Prada actress wore a hooded gown to the red carpet, another trend that has been taking on the runways of labels like Saint Laurent, Versace, and Halpern. Hathaway went with a black Alaïa hooded ensemble by pairing a bodysuit and skirt together to make it look like a dress.
