When it comes to sustainable fashion, there are still misconceptions that you cannot look stylish if you go the sustainability route. Kim Kardashian is here to prove all that wrong.
The reality star shared a breakdown of her look from sister Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding on her Instagram Stories recently and revealed that the dress she had worn was a compilation of old outfits from her wardrobe.
Kourtney got married to Travis Barker in an opulent wedding ceremony in Portofino Italy. The entire Kardashian clan was decked up in Goth-chic fashion, with Dolce and Gabbana being the choice of designers for most of the looks. According to Kim, the D&G dress she wore was the one she had bought back in 2011 for an award ceremony.
“Fun fact about this look for the wedding! I know you guys just saw me in my archive on last week’s episode of The Kardashians! I have every piece photographed and on an app. So when I knew I was going to Italy (LOVE a theme for a trip) I pulled all my Dolce & Gabbana clothes to try on again and see if I could re-wear anything!” she wrote.
The beauty mogul, however, wanted to bring the look to 2022 and make it more her current style, so she wore it over a full lace Vetements dress, another oldie from her closet.
Kim’s all-black look was paired with her platinum locks in an up-do and a statement choker. The celebrity has given us enough inspiration to go digging around in our closets to find something we can revamp and wear for our next outing!
