After rubbing shoulders with royalty, Blackpink is ready to top the electrifying experience of witnessing them setting the stage on fire during their recently-concluded Born Pink World Tour. The K-pop group is all set to throw their first-ever virtual reality concert to let their fans, Blinks, experience their performance like never before.

Blackpink members Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé released a statement saying that the immersive concert experience is a gift for their fans. Blackpink: A VR Encore is going to let their fans experience the Born Pink World Tour’s special finale show that was held in Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome all over again.

The project is being helmed by the Emmy Award-winning production company The Diamond Bros in partnership with Meta.

“We’re thrilled to embrace the dynamic world of VR because it allows us to reach an even wider global audience and share our music in an entirely new, immersive way,” read the statement shared by the members, “This VR concert is not just a show; it’s an extension of the tour we poured our hearts into. We can’t wait for you to see the magic we’ve created with The Diamond Bros and Meta, and thank you to our incredible Blinks for your endless support.”

When is the Blackpink’s VR Concert being held?

The VR encore concert will debut in the Music Valley in Meta Horizon Worlds on December 26, 2023, at 6:30 am IST. A replay of the concert will be available for a month after the show.
