The cat is out of the bag! After teasing her fans with a cryptic teaser on Instagram, Blackpink member Lisa has announced that she has launched her own management agency called LLOUD.

The Thai-born rapper had posted a black and white teaser on her Instagram with an intriguing “Coming soon” accompanying the visuals.

Fans had speculated that Lisa was plannign to announce new music. Some claimed that it could be a hint that Lisa is going the way of musicians like Rihanna and Selena Gomez and launching her own beauty line.

However, the ‘Lalisa’ singer revealed today that she is adding CEO to the already-long list of titles to her name and would be managed by her own agency LLOUD.

The official website claims that the company’s aim is to “create experiences that transcend genres and connect generations”. Lisa shared the announcement on her Instagram inviting fans to “push through new boundaries together”.

Currently, Lisa is the only artist managed by the agency but this is a major step in K-pop artists taking charge of their own career trajectories. Late last year, Lisa’s groupmate Jennie had also announced the establishment of Odd Atelier, her own management agency. Previously, EXO member Baekhyun had also parted ways with the band’s parent agency to form his own company.

LLOUD will be in charge of Lisa’s solo projects and commercial associations while YG Entertainment would oversee Blackpink’s group activities.
