If you’ve even seen the first few minutes of Amazon Prime’s The Boys, then you know that the makers are not afraid to go there. The show is already much too comfortable with all forms of gore, horror, and bodily fluids spraying about with abandon. But turns out, the upcoming season will have all that and more.
Showrunner Eric Kripke has seemingly achieved the impossible and created something so vile that it surpassed what we saw in the last season. The show’s VFX supervisor Stephan Fleet recently took to Twitter to share that the fourth season will have “the most disgusting thing” he had seen in the business so far.

Keep in mind, this is a show where The Deep had to eat a talking octopus named Timothy and we all know what went down in the depraved depths of ‘Herogasm’. So it’s both terrifying and intriguing to imagine what the makers could have cooked up for the next season that trumps all this, in terms of being disgusting.
We’ll just have to wait and see what the fourth season has in store for us.
The filming for the fourth season began in August last year and, therefore, it’s safe to say that the show is not coming back anytime soon.
Aside from this little tidbit from the crew, the addition of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as a recurring guest star on the show is making fans more excited to see the upcoming season.
