Style to me is: Something that can’t be confined in a box. It can be cool, sexy, classy, elegant, moody, spontaneous or casual, but effortless. Style is always inherent. It’s in your DNA. A stylish person can reek of confidence in a simple white T-shirt and jeans, or a cotton kurta pyjama.

Being stylish VS being fashionable: With style, you create a statement in totality and follow your intuition, not a trend. You don’t have to stick to big brands. Look at your own wardrobe, and follow these pointers: discover, experiment, repeat, and mix and match. Being fashionable is about having the money to buy what’s in vogue. You may be able to afford it, but it may not suit your personality.
Style motto: Enjoy and own whatever you wear!
An overrated trend: Whatever a celebrity wears tends to become overrated over time.
My most stylish possessions: My vintage accessories.
Work is worship: As an influencer, I shoot with lots of jewellery and clothing brands — besides working with a lot of dog shelters, which warms my heart.
Luxury to me: At the risk of sounding cliché, it’s the ability to buy or own high-end bags or clothes, or be able to travel to luxe locations. Luxury, for me, is also being in good health and a happy state of mind.
My most luxurious experiences: My holidays, where I eat at the best restaurants, swim in clear blue waters in exotic locales, and stay at luxury hotels.
My style icons: I grew up around a very stylish woman — my ammi. She was so effortless and comfortable in whatever she wore. I also love the way Amal Clooney and Sara Jessica Parker carry themselves. They have a spark about them.
Labels I love: Raw Mango, Sabyasachi, Jayanti Reddy, Arpita Mehta, Jacquemus, Acne Studios, Loewe, Prada, Miu Miu and Victoria Beckham.
Shop till I drop: Delhi and Jaipur for artisanal brands and heritage, and Milan, Paris, Florence, London and New York otherwise.
I’m happiest wearing: Oversized clothes. I can’t wear garments that are uncomfortably clingy and tight.
Items I overuse: A white T-shirt with jeans, my white Loewe flats and Chloé bag is literally my uniform!
