Minecraft, one of the most popular video games in the world, is finally getting its own movie, starring our favourite Hollywood heartthrob, Jason Momoa.

Directed by Jared Hess who has also given us the cult classic, Napoleon Dynamite, the Minecraft live-action film will be a part of the Warner Bros. Studios. In case you didn’t know, Minecraft is a sandbox game that allows players to create and break blocks in a three-dimensional world. Developed by Sweden’s Mojang Studios, the game has two modes: Survival and Creative. In the first mode, the player must find their own food and building supplies while going on multiple adventures whereas, in the creative mode, you can let your imagination run wild by creating a block world of your own.

It’s safe to say that we are quite excited to see how the makers are going to bring this unique game to life.

Jason Momoa is also getting ready for the DC Comics film, Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom, the sequel to his superhero film, Aquaman. The Game Of Thrones star was last seen in the 2021 science fiction film, Dune, directed by Denis Villeneuve.
