Are you a believer in Valentine’s Day? Or are you someone whose eyes perpetually stay rolling at the sheer amount of red roses and cut-out hearts everywhere around this time?
If you’re the latter, a new destination has popped up, especially for you, and it’s something very…unique.
Event company Bucket Listers have created a pop-up bar experience based around Taylor Swift in Chicago. The ‘Bad Blood: A Taylor-Themed Break-Up Bar’ has been created to celebrate the “anti-Valentine’s Day season” and is a homage to the singer’s 2014 song ‘Bad Blood’.
The pop-up bar will start welcoming guests on January 27 and will last till February 26.
“Whether you want to sing about your lover, those who were never yours, those you’re never getting back together with, or those who still have your scarf, this is the perfect place for you,” states the pop-up’s website.
Visitors can get ‘Bejeweled’ for photo opportunities and spin the ‘Shake It Off’ wheel of cocktails to settle on a drink for the night. The entry fee to the pop-up is $20 and it includes a special welcome drink.
The company is quick to state that, while the bar’s theme might be based around Swift, the ‘Anti Hero’ singer is not scheduled to make any appearance. So manage your expectations!
