Blake Lively was one of the many celebrities who made their way to Vegas to attend the Super Bowl this year, along with her bestie Taylor Swift who was there to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
We couldn’t take our eyes and minds off Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s adorable moments together on the field after his big win, and during the after party, and missed a pretty cool detail in Blake Lively’s outfit for the event.
But the Gossip Girl actress recently posted her outfit on Instagram, giving us a closer look at her tracksuit pants which doubled up as shoes as well!
Blake Lively wore the iconic Balenciaga X Adidas tracksuit that the design house presented at their Spring 2023 showcase in New York. The baggy trousers of the tracksuit are tapered at the bottom and transform into a pair of pointed-toe stocking stilettos.
It’s officially known as pantashoes but the actress is happy with her portmanteau “shants”.
While Blake’s “shants” has sent her followers into a frenzy (“omg so if your feet start to hurt you have to take off your pants?!”), the trend is not new. It’s very similar to the viral Jeans Boots trend that took over the Internet in the latter half of 2022 and the Pants Boots that are loved by celebrities, especially Rihanna.
