Ever since their 2016 debut, Blackpink members have managed to win over the world with their music, their killer performances, and their style. The quartet, comprising of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, have made a mark on the fashion industry with their undeniable influence, leading them to be partnered with some of the most well-known labels globally.

Of the four, Lisa’s style stands out for being edgier and more experimental than the other three members, which has perhaps made her one of the most popular K-pop celebrities with luxury labels. The ‘Money’ singer is associated with brands like Celine and Bulgari and can be spotted in the front row of fashion weeks worldwide.

Whether she’s entertaining a stadium filled with screaming fans or mingling with the fashion elite, Lisa’s style always remains distinct.

During her first few award show appearances, the singer played it safe by opting for classic silhouettes and bright colours, like the Pinko red dress and black skirt ensemble she wore for the 2016 Melon Music Awards.

We started seeing sparks of what will become her characteristic edgy-yet-classically feminine style in 2018 when she showed up at the SBS Gayo Daejeon in a sheer dress paired with a black Alexander McQueen biker jacket.

The popstar began coming into her own as a Gen-Z style icon when she appeared on Good Morning America in 2019 in a Balenciaga logo knit top paired with patchwork Vetements X Levis and Doc Martens.

This is also the time when Lisa started coming on the radar of luxury brands around the world. The star was spotted at Celine’s menswear show at the Paris Fashion Week in a head-to-toe look from the brand.

Later that year, Lisa also attended Bulgari’s Serpenti Seduttori launch in a one-shoulder mini dress by Kimhekim.

Her association with Celine brought about a marked change in her style. Lisa’s looks started becoming more Parisian chic mixed with her youthful preppy edge. This was evident in her outfit for the 2019 Golden Disc Awards.

The singer, by now, had become a regular at major fashion events and gave us another breathtaking style moment at the 2020 Milan Fashion Week in her head-to-toe Prada metallic gold look at the brand’s show.

In 2021, the singer debuted her solo project Lalisa and the promotional looks featured everything from Vivienne Westwood and Mugler to, of course, Celine.

The singer’s style has now become a comfortable blend of classic and modern. While her on-stage looks for the ongoing Born Pink world tour are bold and experimental in all the best ways (her Area tops are fan favourites), her appearances at the Bulgari events have shown us another side of her style.

The singer, along with fellow Bulgari muses Anne Hathaway and Priyanka Chopra, broke the Internet when they made an appearance at the unveiling of the brand’s high jewellery collection in Venice in May. The singer channelled old Hollywood glamour in a stunning black off-shoulder Antonio Riva Milano gown.

More recently, Lisa attended the Bulgari Serpenti 75 Years of Infinite Tales exhibition in Seoul in a white satin gown with trumpet sleeves and a high neckline and a plunging back.

The singer added statement jewellery from Bulgari to accessorise the look and, uncharacteristically, kept her famous bangs out of her face in an elegant updo.

We can’t wait and see more looks by the singer!
