Shweta Bachchan, the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, celebrated her 49th birthday with an intimate party at her home.
The event was held in Juhu and was attended by a host of A-list celebrities, including newlyweds Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Shanaya Kapoor, among others. Shah Rukh Khan, who made a smashing comeback to the silver screen with YRF’s spy-drama Pathaan, also attended Bachchan’s bash.

Bachchan married Delhi-based businessman Nikhil Nanda in 1997. The couple welcomed daughter Navya in the same year while son Agastya was born in 2000. In 2018, Bachchan made her debut as an author with the book Paradise Towers. Her son Agastya Nanda will soon make his Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, alongside Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana, and Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor.
