From deep investigation about the guest list to photos of the speculated venue, the world wanted in on any detail or insight into the upcoming celebrity nuptials.
The closely guarded ceremony finally happened without any hitch and the gorgeous couple shared photos from the wedding last evening. The careful candids do justice to the unfairly good-looking couple and will melt even the coldest of hearts with clear love shining through them.
Advani and Malhotra went with an understated pastel colour palette for their wedding, as has become the norm over the last few celebrity weddings. The actress looked resplendent in a pink Manish Malhotra lehenga while Malhotra complimented her look in a white sherwani.
In attendance were several of their close friends and family, including members of the industry like Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, and his wife Mira Kapoor.
Whether Johar and Kapoor came through on their promise to perform ‘Dola Re Dola’ at the sangeet ceremony or not is still to be determined.
The couple’s Instagram post was instantly flooded with love and well wishes from their fellow celebrities, like Athiya Shetty, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, and Katrina Kaif.
Johar took to sharing a photo of the newlyweds on his own Instagram and wrote a heartwarming caption to express his love for the couple. He wrote, “I met him a decade and a half ago…. Silent, strong and still so sensitive…. I met her many years after… silent ,strong and so sensitive in equal measure…Then they met each other and i realised in that moment that these two pillars of strength and dignity can make an irreplaceable bond and create the most magical love story together…. Watching them is a fairy tale that is rooted in tradition and family…(sic)”
Reportedly, the couple will host two wedding receptions, one in Delhi and the second in Mumbai.
