Selena Gomez is taking a trip down memory lane to the place where it all started. Feeling the magic in the air, the ‘Naturally’ singer took a stroll in New York City and shared a sweet picture on Instagram of her looking at the Waverly Place sign in the city.

The actor starred in the Disney show, Wizards of Waverly Place, which recently completed 15 years since it first aired on television in 2007. Captioning the post, “Where it all began”, Gomez then went on to not only work with some of the finest actors in the world but also create music that is loved by people around the world.

While Gomez has not amassed unimaginable fame, the show and her fellow star cast still hold a very special place in her heart. During an interview, the ‘Rare’ singer spoke about how she sees a resemblance between her two iconic characters, Only Murders in the Building’s Mabel and Wizards Of Waverly Place’s Alex. “I feel like Mabel is an older version of Alex in a way,” Gomez shared.

Gomez later went on to share, “I adored being on that show so much. I felt like I did learn a lot.” “We got really lucky. I still look back at that and laugh at certain things just because I thought it was so fun, and we tried,” she added. Gomez is now preparing for her upcoming Apple Tv+ documentary, Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me, which will be premiering on November 4, 2022.
