If you, like us, have been waiting to go on more adventures with Emily (and the gang) in Paris, then there’s good news for you. A fourth season of Emily In Paris is on its way and it promises to answer all the pressing questions left behind by the explosive season finale of the last season.

The divisive show that had people online gushing and fuming in equal amounts about the often cringe plot lines and the stereotypical depiction of French people is one of the most-watched shows of recent times. Lilly Collins (who plays the titular Emily) confirmed the news back in 2022 that the show will be returning for a fourth season. The actress recently share d apicture on Instagram announcing that the new season is officially in production.

Netflix also released a teaser where Collins revealed some of the questions that might get answered in the upcoming season.

“So much happened that we just need answers to. Is Alfie still heartbroken? Will Gabriel get his Michelin star? Will Mindy and the band go to Eurovision? And what about Camille? Will Sylvie’s rekindled love last? And the question on all of our minds. Will Emily and Gabriel finally get together?” she asks in the clip.

While we rewatched older seasons of the show to pass the time, we decided to round up all the information that we have about Emily In Paris Season 4.

Who is going to be in Emily In Paris Season 4?

Aside from Collins, all the series regulars are slated to come back in the new season. Mindy (Ashley Park), Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), Camille (Camille Razat), Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Julien (Samuel Arnold), and Luc (Bruno Gouery) will star in season 4.

So far the makers have not revealed much about the fate of Alfie (Lucien Lavsicount), Emily’s English boyfriend, who walked out of Emily’s life after finding out that she and Gabriel are still in love with each other.

But, in an interview with TV Guide, showrunner Darren Star revealed that season 4 will see Emily “navigating complicated relationships”, including professional ones. “Emily is still going to be working with Alfie, Gabriel, and Camille. Those work relationships are really fraught with emotional conflict,” he said.

While we don’t know the exact plot of the new season, it’s safe to say that Emily has a lot to deal with in the upcoming episodes. Star confirmed this and added, “Season 4 is going to be more about navigating complicated relationships; personal relationships and work relationships, and how they come into conflict with each other.”

The new season will explore Emily’s relationship with those around her, especially the complicated one she shares with Gabriel. The show will also deal with Camille’s pregnancy and the shift in dynamics in the group after that explosive reveal.

When Is Emily In Paris Season 4 going to be released?

Filming for the show was supposed to start last year but was stalled because of the writers’ strike. It has been reported that the filming is scheduled to begin soon and would have to be wrapped up by June 2024. Paris has prohibited all shoots from June to September 2024 because of the upcoming Olympic Games. So we can assume that the new season will drop on Netflix in late 2024 or early 2025.
