If you love Italian food and happen to be in Mumbai then you need to make your way to Vetro at The Oberoi, Mumbai, this weekend!
As part of the Oberoi Hotels & Resorts’ unique alliance with Mandarin Oriental, The Oberoi, Mumbai, is hosting a pop-up where Michelin-starred Chef Luigi Stinga, from Talea by Antonio Guida at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, will be presenting a very special menu of homestyle Italian cuisine.
The chef, who has worked at some of the most well-known and Michelin star awarded restaurants around the world, is a master at transforming traditional Italian dishes and giving with his own sophisticated twist to them. Chef Stinga has made an art form of family-style cooking and is ready to present a specially curated menu to the patrons at Vetro this weekend.
You can expect a mouth-watering fare including Raviolo Agnello and Pastinaca, which is ravioli filled with lamb and parsnip puree, and L’uovo Tartufo, a slow cooked egg with black truffle.
“I hope this innovative Cucina di Famiglia menu makes for an outstanding culinary experience at Vetro at The Oberoi, Mumbai. I’ve always been in pursuit of ingenious new flavours and cooking techniques to create classic Italian dishes, and I look forward to showcasing the very best of these here in India’s city of dreams,” said the chef.
You can try Chef Stinga’s Cucina di Famiglia, Italian for family-style cuisine, at the Vetro, The Oberoi, Mumbai, from 16th-18th June.
