Halsey not only wowed fans with her performance at Lollapalooza 2024 in Mumbai, but the “Now or Never” hitmaker also made a lasting impression with her style. From Anamika Khanna to Arpita Mehta, the singer explored Indian brands for her onstage and off-stage looks during her time in the country.

Halsey picked a Saaksha & Kinni crop top for her appearance onstage. The traditional Gujarati thread and mirrorwork-adorned crop top paired with a plaid skirt embodied rockstar glam.

“The brief for Halsey was to light the stage on fire!” reveals designer Saaksha Bhat, and adds, “So, we decided to go with an elaborately hand-embroidered blouse, accentuated with intricate threadwork, strategically-placed mirrors and metallic threads. These design elements were intended to maximise light reflection. While honouring the artist’s preference for darker hues, touches of vivid pink and red were incorporated, both being colours commonly associated with Indian culture. We were quite excited to experiment with bold embroidery given that the attire was specifically for a stage setting and loved how she carried the look.”

The singer, styled by Lyn Alison and Shereen Sikka, accessorised her rock-chic look with Tribe Amrapali jewels. She chose the Silver Peridot Pearl Drop Earrings and the Silver Multi Mirror Zig Zag cuff from the jewellery label’s new collection. “Halsey seamlessly blended our heritage and craftsmanship with her own bold and modern style, making her Lollapalooza 2024 look one for the books,” said Akanksha Arora, CEO of Amrapali.

Off-stage and a day prior to her performance, Halsey picked a softer look with a beautifully draped pre-stitched tiered sari in free-flowing georgette from Arpita Mehta. She paired it with a delicate, hand-pleated blouse that added to the ethereal charm of the look. The ensemble was further complemented with stunning jewellery from Isharya and a statement potli bag from Fizzy Goblet.

And for her final homegrown outfit, Halsey merged her off-stage and onstage personas in a custom Anamika Khanna ensemble. The mix of bold cutouts and soft lace interspersed with sheer fabric draped artfully made it the perfect look for an off-duty rockstar. Halsey chose a pair of heels from Fizzy Goblet to complete the look.
