Manushi Chhillar claims her style is all about minimalism. In a chat with HELLO! India for our November issue, the former beauty queen and now certified Bollywood actress revealed she’s always loved the idea of having a sense of style and exploring fashion.

“Style is an expression of who you are and what you want to show the world,” she said, “To me, fashion is about minimalism. I’m still discovering my personal style, which depends on the mood I find myself in.”

One quick scroll down her Instagram feed will corroborate the fact since her #OOTD posts are all about monochromatic looks in classic silhouettes. But contrary to what one might think, it’s never boring.

The actress’ favourite colour, or non-colour, to wear, both for her on and off-duty looks, is white and she regularly experiments with different textures, and silhouettes, and often includes hints of other hues to keep things interesting.

Take, for instance, her all-white Dior look that gave off a strong Blair Waldorf-esque vibe which was in complete contrast with the white Ritika Mirchandani ensemble that toed the line between traditional and modern effortlessly.
