Earlier this year, Italian luxury fashion house Valentino gave the best news to its Indian fans when they revealed that their first official store in the country will be opening very soon.
The day is upon us and Valentino has found its first Indian home in Delhi’s DLF Emporio.
This new development is the first of many steps in the brand’s goal of expanding its worldwide retail network. The ball was set rolling after Valentino signed a long-term distribution agreement with Reliance Brands Limited (RBL). The Delhi store opening will be followed by a flagship store in Mumbai.
“The brand’s infectious romanticism, signature codes and bold use of colour has strong resonance in India. This partnership will help make the brand more accessible to its Indian customers and build a new tribe of Valentino connoisseurs,” said Darshan Mehta, MD of RBL.
So if you’ve been dying to get your hands on the brand’s Barbiecore-max products from their Valentino Pink PP collection, you can head on over to the luxury mall in the capital and treat yourself.
“The upcoming store opening represents a significant step in Valentino’s global strategy, and we are honoured to be part of the country’s growing retail market, allowing the company and the Valentino Community to grow in a solid way, according to our values and brand culture,” said Jacopo Venturini, CEO Maison Valentino.
Another thing that’s exciting about the new boutique’s opening is that the luxury fashion label is revamping its retail experience by creating a store design that allows visitors to go on a visual journey with the brand. The boutique features a special installation with stand lights and ultraclear vinyl on the window glass.
All product categories, for all genders, are available at the store, including ready-to-wear, Valentino Garavani bags, shoes, and other accessories.
