Rashmika Mandanna became a household name after starring in the phenomenally successful 2021 Telugu film Pushpa: The Rise, along with Allu Arjun. Aside from a rapid ascent to pan-India superstardom, the actress has been busy giving us enough sartorial inspiration to get through the wedding season in style.

While her wardrobe is varied when it comes to style, her sari looks are some of our special favourites. Mandanna carries off the traditional Indian style with grace and often experiments with draping styles and fabrics that keep it fresh.

Take for instance the olive green sari she draped in a Coorgi-style for a friend’s wedding back in May 2022. The actress chose a beautiful Shanti Banaras sari and draped it in the unique Coorgi, or Kodagu, style which requires the front pallu to be tucked in neatly over the shoulders and the pleats are pulled backwards.

Mandanna’s sari collection has also given us the inspiration to try on unconventional colours in traditional styles, like the magenta sari she wore in June 2022. The actress’ Dhruvi Panchal label sari paired the vibrant hue with subtle gold embroidery, resulting in a stunning effect. Mandanna kept it monochrome by opting for a blouse in the same colour as her sari for the look.

If you want to take a peek at the actress’ collection, here are some of our favourite sari looks over the years...
