If reports are to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor is adding another epic trilogy to his impressive filmography after Brahmāstra. The 41-year-old actor has allegedly been roped in to play the role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.

Ever since producer Madhu Mantena confirmed the upcoming project based on the epic mythology back in 2020, anticipation has been steadily mounting up. After many casting rumours, the near-confirmed reports of Ranbir Kapoor’s casting, opposite actress Sai Pallavi and KGF star Yash, have raised the expectations exponentially!

Director Nitesh Tiwari, who has been known to deliver hits like Dangal, wants to split the story into three parts for an epic trilogy. We’re all familiar with the tale—it chronicles the triumph of good over evil as Lord Ram defeats Ravana after kidnapping Sita. The first instalment in the series will simply be called Ramayana: Part One.
