HELLO!: Given how you organically evolved into a popular voice in this space, how does it feel to win the ‘Wellness & Beauty Influencer of the Year’ award?

Mira Rajput Kapoor: “I’m grateful for being recognised in this space, as beauty and wellness are both subjects I’m extremely passionate about. What started as casual banter between me and my audience evolved into a strong connection based on authenticity. I can’t wait to see how this grows!”

H!: From where do you seek inspiration?

MRK: “The times we live in, we want to stay well, look beautiful and fit. It’s important to acknowledge that health is wealth, and we do need to look after ourselves. We have a lot of traditions in our country in health and wellness that have stood the test of time. We just need to look internally for remedies.”

H!: You’re also a popular young fashionista. How would you define your personal sense of style?

MRK: “I don’t like following trends or have any interest in over-curated ‘looks’. I like to keep my outfits comfortable and minimal and consider how often I can wear them when I’m buying them. Nowadays, I see many people buy clothes they wear for just an Instagram photo, not ones they could wear and be out and about. I like to buy fewer things, focusing on wearability and quality. My personal style is minimal, and since I enjoy jewellery, I accessorise with them.”

H!: Your fans and followers enjoy your live piano sessions immensely. Can we expect an offline performance soon?

MRK: “I hope so! I started playing the piano again after 20 years, and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy it. It’s so fulfilling... I think everyone should have one hobby that gives them such happiness. Not something meant for others, but just themselves. It’s like a part of me comes alive when I play the piano. I play by ear, but I’m learning technically again, so I can grasp new pieces quicker. Maybe one day, I can play for an audience!”

H!: How do you manage to stay so grounded?

MRK: “My family and the values I grew up with are integral to my being. I am whatever I am because of my parents. All credit goes to them.

H!: Share a few moments that stood out for you in the past year.

MRK: “Well, we moved into a new home. It’s been this new chapter in our lives has brought in so much fresh energy and positivity.”

H!: Do you have a personal and professional vision for 2023?

MRK: “I hope to do more, do better and find some time for myself. I’m working on a few interesting projects, and I’d like to spend focused time on them. Family time is key, and with more on my plate, I hope to strike a balance between my family and my work commitments.”
