Everyone is busy admiring John Abraham’s performance in Pathaan. The actor managed to make his mark in a film that was marketed as Shah Rukh Khan’s unofficial comeback as Bollywood’s biggest star and has critics singing his praises for his performance as the bad guy in the movie.
In the movie, Abraham plays an ex-RAW agent who goes rogue after a tragedy and decides to take revenge by planning a deadly terrorist attack on the country. His character Jim is wonderfully layered and Abraham delivers the role with surprising ease.
One detail that stood out for the viewers was that Jim used to be the partner of Kabir, Hrithik Roshan’s character from War, which is another movie in the YRF Spy Universe.
This little nugget of information was enough for fans to spawn theories about Jim’s possible return for War 2 or any other future YRF Spy Universe movies.
This is not the first connection that the two handsome actors share. Both Abraham and Roshan have played the bad guys (two of the most iconic ones in Bollywood, IMHO) in another YRF franchise, the Dhoom series.
But did you know, their connection goes even further than that?
A throwback school photograph has surfaced on Reddit where the two familiar faces can be spotted together. Turns out, Abraham and Roshan were classmates at the Bombay Scottish School many years ago!
How adorable do the two superstars look?
Whether you believe in signs from the universe or not, you’d have to agree that the two need to star in a movie together. Stat!
