Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 57th birthday with his fans by sharing a teaser of his upcoming action moviePathaan.
The actor and production house Yash Raj Films shared the nearly two-minute-long clip that gave us a look at the much-anticipated movie which stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, along with SRK.
The teaser opens with a disembodied voice asking about the whereabouts of the titular Pathaan, who has been MIA for the past three years. Since he was captured by the enemy troops, he is presumed to be dead. Pathaan makes it clear that he is not, in fact, dead as he beats up his captors and escapes with a literal bang.
The clip goes on to show Padukone and Abraham looking like a million bucks and beating up people left right and centre. It’s an action movie, after all. People being beaten up and explosions are a given. The teaser promises high-octane action sequences, exotic locations, and a potential romance between SRK and DP.

Predictably, this has been met with great enthusiasm, especially because it marks the return of the actor onscreen after Zero in 2018. His short cameo in Brahmastra was one of the best things about the movie and whetted people’s interest in seeing him in a proper feature-length role soon. The movie is slated to release on January 25, 2023.
Aside from this Siddharth Anand movie, SRK is working on Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani and Jawan with Atlee.
