It all began when Kaushal appeared on Koffee With Karan for the first time and was told that Kaif took his name when asked who she would look best with onscreen. The actor immediately proceeded to swoon, resulting in one of the most iconic moments on the show.

Kaif later recalled that she did not know who Kaushal was, at the time, and had just taken his name because she was vaguely aware of him. The couple officially met for the first time during a dinner party thrown by Zoya Akhtar, and the rest was history.

While they kept their relationship hidden until they shared their wedding announcement with the world, Kaushal is done keeping his gigantic crush on Kaif hidden and we’re here for it.

At a recent event, the Raazi actor revealed, unprompted, that Kaif is one of the most knowledgeable people he knew and is a doctor and scientist in her own right. He added that she makes sure he is eating well and taking good care of himself while working.

This is not the first time he has waxed lyrical about life post-marriage.

“It actually does feel great. I really truly do feel settled. I just feel truly lucky to just find that in her - life partner. She is a wonderful soul and one of the wisest and most compassionate people I have ever come across. I really learn from her a lot and she really grounds me. She is like a mirror to me. She would state out hard facts which I need to know and hear. And you always need that person with you. I truly feel fortunate to have her as my life partner,” he had said in an interview.

The actor even broke into a rendition of Kaif’s most popular songs, including ‘Kaala Chashma’ and ‘Chikni Chameli’, at the trailer launch event for his upcoming film Govinda Naam Mera.

It wasn’t really a surprise that Kaushal had the choreography down pat. Kaif had revealed during her last appearance on KWK that the actor had prepared a 45-minute-long performance of all her iconic songs to cheer her up on her birthday when she wasn’t feeling well.
