Everyone, apart from the couple themselves, have confirmed that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are getting married very, very soon. The latest to join the list is the couple’s close friend and director of their upcoming film Brahmāstra, Ayan Mukerji.
Mukerji shared a brand new poster of the film on Instagram. The poster featured Kapoor and Bhatt’s characters in an embrace and was backed by a snippet of a song from the movie sung by Arijit Singh.
“Part One: Shiva… is what this first chapter of Brahmāstra is now called. But for the longest time, it used to be…Part One: Love. Because at its core, Brahmāstra is about the Energy of Love. A Love - that spread like Fire, beyond the Movie, and into Life,” wrote the director, adding, “The Time feels Right for it…There is some extra love in the air these days ! :).”
Bhatt replied to the post with love for Mukerji’s caption, writing, “Ummmm caption,” followed by many heart emojis, confirming that the post is hinting at possible upcoming nuptials.
The eagerly-awaited movie is set to release on 9.9.2022.
