It follows Loretta, a romance novelist, who gets kidnapped by a billionaire who is convinced she knows the way to a lost ancient burial chamber. Things get even more chaotic when Alan (Channing Tatum), her well-intentioned yet not-so-smart cover model, decides to rescue her and prove his love. The movie also stars Brad Pitt and Daniel Radcliffe.

Free Guy
Free Guy (2021)
The Renaissance of Ryan Reynolds as an action hero with a penchant for witty one-liners and self-deprecating humour has been a joy to witness. One of the movies that displays his comedic genius is Free Guy. In the movie, a bank teller realises that he’s actually an NPC (non-player character) in a massive, multiplayer online game and the responsibility to save the world (or game) is now on him. The movie also stars Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, and Taika Waititi.

You cannot talk about Ryan Reynold’s rebirth as the King of the adventure-comedy genre without mentioning the movie that started it all. Deadpool can be credited for kicking off the trend of superhero movies that blend in heavy doses of comedy to keep things light. The series now has multiple movies but the first one still remains special. It tells the origin story of the wisecracking assassin and opens up the possibility of a possible Deadpool appearance in the MCU or the X-Men universe too.
