How to calculate your number

Begin with your date of birth. Reduce the date to a single digit, if you’re born on a double-digit date, by adding the digits involved. For example: If you’re born on the 12th of a month, your number is 1 + 2 = 3.

The Capricorn period began in the second half of December, bringing with it a certain sluggishness that will go on till January 20. In numerology, No. 1, which represents the Sun, is a fortunate number, but when in conjunction with Saturn, the lord of Capricorn, it remains as harmonious or disharmonious as a father-son relationship. However, it will be a decent month overall. The most important virtue in January shall be patience, as Saturn makes one undergo trials. And like the Sun, your ruler, you will take time to get what you 8 desire. Try to focus on your goals; despite initial delays, your enthusiasm, combined with hard work, shall turn the tide of fortune in your direction. Remember, inactivity proves fatal for No. 1s.

This month is governed by Capricorn and ruled by Saturn (No. 8), the lord of trials and judgement. January could be the starting point of fortune for your number, as it’s a Venus-governed year. It’s your year as well as month to vouch for. If you pull off the manifestation of a No.7, this month will grant you all that you require. Frequent mood swings are on the cards, especially if you’re impatient. Travel plans could materialise, owing partly to your restless disposition. Take some time out for rehabilitation.
