With every new Instagram post, Sonam Kapoor likes to remind us all why she’s called a fashion icon. The actress has a penchant for casually setting new trends and elevating existing ones with flair.

More recently, Kapoor made an appearance at the launch of her husband’s label VegNonVeg’s new line. The actor was dressed in a monogrammed denim-on-denim look for the occasion that had us all sit up and take notes.

The Aisha actress wore a baggy distressed denim jacket that was monogrammed with the brand’s name over a black bralette and paired it with a pair of equally baggy denim pants with the same print.

While sharing the look on Instagram, Kapoor wrote, “The washes and finishes throughout this drop are deliberately distressed to give the garments a worn-in and vintage look for an overall grunge-inspired aesthetic.”

Printed denims have been a major trend since 2021. Designers and labels like Loewe, Chanel, and Gucci have continued exploring the trend in 2023.

The key to getting it right is offsetting any loud print with a neutral basic.
