Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani’s star-studded pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar might have concluded, but we’re still not over the display of iconic fashion from the event.

While there were several stand-out looks from the bride during the ceremonies, including a Versace gown that took our breath away, her final look for the ‘hastakshar ceremony’ was undoubtedly something special.

Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Radhika Merchant wore a bespoke Tarun Tahiliani lehenga ensemble that effortlessly brought home the theme of the night: Heritage Indian.

The “wearable piece of art”, as the designer puts it, was adorned with a tapestry of hand-painted miniature artistry that was interwoven with kasheedakari craftsmanship (an embroidery craft associated with Kashmir, Bihar, Punjab and Himachal) in shades of rose gold and silver.

The blouse featured jali work and embroidery with silk threads, known as resham work, and a hand-painted dupatta was draped around the bride elegantly. The look was completed with a panelled, scalloped rose gold tissue veil that framed her face beautifully.

For her jewellery, Radhika Merchant did not hold back. The bride was draped in stunning diamond jewels, including haathphools, statement necklace, earrings, and a maang teeka.

What did you think of the bride’s look on Day 3 of the pre-wedding festivities?
