In Conversation With Malvika Raaj

HELLO!: Can you describe your personal style and how it has evolved over time?

MR: “My personal style is comfortable yet chic and honestly not much has changed with time, but I do love to try out new trends all the time.”

H!: Which underrated style do you think should make a comeback?

MR: “In my opinion, printed pants from the ’70s were so cool should and they should totally make a comeback!”

H!: Which ’90s trend resurgence are you happy about?

MR: “I love the return of the matching co-ord sets.”

H!: What is your go-to ensemble for date nights?

MR: “A little black dress can never go wrong!”

H!: Can you share some tips on how to incorporate the colour red in our outfits in a subtle manner?

MR: “There are many ways to add red to an outfit if you’re uncomfortable wearing it in a big way. For instance, you can use red accessories like a red bag or a belt. You can also wear an oversized red blazer over a black or white dress and that would add the ‘Valentine Love’ to it. Another great way to add an oomph factor to your basic outfit would be to wear red high boots.”

H!: Can you share your favourite make-up hack that has become a part of your routine?

MR: “My favourite make-up hack is warming up my eyelash curler before using it and then applying the mascara. You will never need to wear false lashes again.”

H!: What is the best fashion advice you’ve come across?

MR: “I think it would be my favourite quote from Coco Chanel, ‘dress like your going to meet your worst enemy’.”
