After months of speculations, actors Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari have revealed that they’re engaged to be married!
The actress shared a photo of the two wearing their engagement rings on Instagram with the caption “He said yes!”.
Recently, reports of the two tying the knot had surfaced and now the couple has confirmed the news themselves.
The ceremony, reportedly, was held at the Ranganayakaswamy Temple in Wanarparthy district in Telangana. In case you didn’t know, Aditi Rao Hydari is one of the few Bollywood celebrities who are related to royals and her maternal grandfather was the last ruler of Wanarpathy and thus the family shares a special connection to the temple.
Before the Instagram announcement of their engagement, the couple had never openly acknowledged the dating rumours that surrounded them. They have been spotted appearing together for public events over the years and are a regular feature on each other’s Instagram too.

Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth met each other on the sets of their first film together, Ajay Bhupathi’s Telugu romantic action drama Maha Samudram in 2021. The actors grew close during the filming and, reportedly, began dating soon.
Soon after this, they started appearing at events together, including the engagement of A.R Rahman’s daughter and the audio launch of Ponniyin Selvan Part 1’s audio launch in 2022.
Later that year, Siddharth took to Instagram to wish Aditi on her birthday. He wrote a special poem for her to accompany the adorable photo of the two. The poem as a caption on these birthday posts became a fixture as the actor repeated it the next year too.
Amidst strong speculations about their relationship, the two decided to jump on the ‘Tum Tum’ dance reel trend. The video went viral instantly, further fuelling rumours about the two of them being together.
