On the occasion of Sunny’s 33rd birthday (28 September), Katrina retrieved a wholesome picture from what appears to be her wedding archives, of her brother-in-law or ‘devar’ touching her feet to seek blessings as Vicky looks on delightedly. The caption read, “Jeete raho, khush raho (live long, be happy).” Kaif got married to actor Vicky Kaushal in December last year and hosted a big, fat Indian wedding in a gorgeous palace in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The wedding was a highly private affair with only close family members and a couple of friends in attendance.
Vicky Kaushal also posted a photo of the dashing duo on Instagram and wished the birthday boy with the caption, “Happy Birthday to the most sarvagun sampann Kaushal! Love you.“ ‘Sarvagun sampann’ translates to being endowed with all perfections and excellencies, a sweet description which we think is a testament to the brothers’ unbreakable bond and love for each other.

Sunny shared this adorable and breezy ‘devar-bhabhi’ moment that was captured against the backdrop of the crystal clear, blue waters and colourful skies of the Maldives in a stunning, white boat for Katrina’s birthday. He captioned it, “Happy @katrinakaif week” to commemorate the occasion.
Sunny posted this heartwarming picture during the Holi festival, with the entire Kaushal family, including father Sham Kaushal, mother Veena Kaushal, brother Vicky and Katrina, of course, sharing the frame in the balcony of what seems to be the couple’s Mumbai home. Doused in the vivid colours of Holi, we can’t help but smile at the genuinely happy faces featured in the family photo. Captioned, “Holi Hai!!!!,” this ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ style picture is definitely meant for the archives.
Revisiting the viral photos from Vicky and Katrina’s fairytale wedding, we can see Sunny having the time of his life fulfilling his ‘devar duties’ for Katrina. We see the blushing bride flashing Sunny a radiant smile while her mother and two sisters are looking on in one of the photos. In another one, the photographer has beautifully captured the bride and groom and the surrounding group dancing with fervour. It’s no wonder that these pictures spread like wildfire when they were first released by the Kaushals.
Sunny Kaushal has come a long way since his assistant director days in the film industry and also went on to star in a few movies, including Akshay Kumar’s hockey-themed film Gold (2018), Bhangra Paa Le (2020) and Shiddat (2021), after marking his debut with Sunshine Music Tours And Travels in 2016. The actor has also appeared in some music videos like ‘Taaron Ke Shehar’, ‘Dil Lauta Do’ and ‘Ishq Mein’.
We hear that Kaushal has big things up his sleeve for the future and will be seen alongside Neetu Kapoor and Shraddha Srinath in an upcoming untitled project directed by Milind Dhaimade. We can’t wait to see more of his acting prowess next year!
