Riding high on the success of his latest blockbuster, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan has made some major waves in Bollywood. After an intensive schedule of promotions for the horror-comedy film, Aaryan is finally back on set to filmhis next project, Shehzada.

Taking to Instagram, the Love Aaj Kal actor shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from his first day of filming, and we have to say, it’s all really exciting. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, Aaryan will be sharing the screen with Kriti Sanon, with who he has previously worked with on Luka Chuppi, along with Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, and Ronit Roy.

A remake of the hit 2020 Tamil film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Shehzada revolves around a young man, who is often subjected to criticism from his father, and finds himself at a crossroad when he finds out that he was switched at birth with a millionaire’s son. Soon, he sets out to leave his old life behind and reclaim his place as the rightful heir.

Apart from Shehzada, Kartik Aaryan will be also seen in Shashanka Ghosh’s romantic thriller film, Freddy where he stars alongside Jawaani Jaaneman actor, Alaya F. He is also gearing up for Sameer Vidwans’ Satyanarayan Ki Katha and Hansal Mehta's Captain India, which is said to hit screens later this year.
