2024’s first big celebrity wedding just happened. Actress Rakul Preet Singh tied the knot with actor-filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani in an intimate ceremony in Goa, surrounded by close friends and family.
The couple got married at the ITC Grand South Goa Hotel and shared stunning photos from the ceremony to Instagram right after that.
They decided to blend in both their cultures for their wedding, by performing an Anand Karaj ceremony first on Wednesday afternoon and then a ceremony according to Sindhi customs after that.
Along with their respective families, friends of the bride and groom made for a star-atudded guest list for the wedding. Celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Bhumi Pednekar were in attendance to celebrate the couple’s happy moments with them.
Both Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani chose Tarun Tahiliani as their wedding outfit designer. Rakul looked like a vision in her intricately hand-embroidered lehenga with three-dimensional floral appliques in ivory and blush hues, while Jackky’s cream sherwani was adorned with the designer’s signature Chinar leaf motif.
The couple is well-known for their affinity towards healthy eating and fitness and this extended to their wedding catering menu as well. As per reports, there was a special health corner dedicated to promoting wellness and a gluten-free and sugar-free treats on the menu.
