Congratulations are in order for newlyweds Lin Laishram and Randeep Hooda! The couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Imphal on November 29.
The Highway actor married his longtime girlfriend in a traditional Meitei wedding ceremony in Imphal’s Chumthang Shannapung Resort. Hooda took to Instagram to share photos from the ceremony, writing, “From today, we are One.”
The bride looked resplendent in traditional Manipuri bridal attire. She wore a Potloi, or Polloi, which is a cylindrical skirt made up of thick fabric and bamboo. The groom wore a traditional white kurta to the ceremony.
Videos and photos from the wedding and pre-wedding functions began surfacing on social media right after the ceremony.

Hooda and Laishram announced the wedding on Instagram a few days ago with a post that revealed their decision to get married in a traditional Meitei ceremony, “Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjuna married Manipuri Warrior princess Chitrangada, we are getting married with the blessings of our families and friends.”
The couple made their relationship Insta-official last year, on Diwali, when they shared a selfie together.
