9 Celebrities Who Must Be Wishing Twitter Had Introduced The ‘Edit’ Button Sooner

Twitter has finally decided to give the world what it was waiting for. No, Twitter is not giving us a way to live in a pretty cottage in the forest with an unlimited supply of chicken nuggets and no worries about silly stuff like taxes or returning emails. The social media platform might be introducing an ‘Edit’ button very soon!
Twitter announced recently that they’re working on a feature that would allow users to edit their Tweets and would be testing it out in the coming months.

Reactions to the news have been mixed. While some have shouted ‘Hallelujah’ from their rooftops on the possible new update, others are worried it would not bear well in the age of rampant misinformation online. Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey had elaborated on this back in 2020 when he said, “You might send a tweet and then someone might retweet that and an hour later you completely change the content of that tweet and that person that retweeted the original tweet is now retweeting and rebroadcasting something completely different.”
Will this new update mean good things for Tweeps? Or is this another addition to the long stack of things that are leading us towards an age of Internet doom? We’ll just have to wait to find out. But what we already know is that this news would have caused multiple celebrities to wish they could take it with them to the past to help them erase some of their questionable Tweets! But unfortunately for them, the Internet’s memory lasts forever and we managed to round up all the celebrity Tweets that they wish could be edited now…

Yeah, Jackky Bhagnani must have been the first person rushing to sign each and every petition demanding Twitter to introduce the Edit feature...

Not sure even an Edit button can clarify what this was.

Yikes! Talk about Tweets that haven’t aged well!

Yeah, the musician could’ve done with an Edit button back when she decided to out herself out there like this!

Who knew supermodel Naomi Campbell would have had something in common with Bollywood actor-turned-producer Jackky Bhagnani?

To be fair, it would be pretty funny.

An Edit button would have saved Lindsay Lohan a world of embarrassment!

When comedian Kapil Sharma found himself in hot water with the ruling party and its goons, and Edit button would have been pretty handy!

While no Edit feature could have salvaged the disaster that was former US president Donald Trump’s Twitter feed, this little gaffe that launched a thousand memes could have been avoided. Not that it would have helped.
