After making history as the first Korean solo artist to hit number one on the Billboard Top 100 chart with a track from his first solo album Face, BTS’ Jimin is making news again. This time, the vocalist is going to be a part of a new single from the OST of the upcoming Fast & Furious instalment Fast X. The song, ‘Angel Pt. 1’, also features Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, JVKE, and Muni Long.

BTS’ parent company Big Hit took to Twitter to announce the news and shared a minute-long preview of the song.

Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toreto returns in the new Fast & Furious movie with Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Momoa, John Cena, Jason Statham, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Brie Larson, and Rita Moreno. The movie will hit theatres on May 19.

This is not the first time Jimin, or any member of BTS, has been a part of a movie’s OST. Jimin’s 2020 track ‘Friends’ was featured in Marvel’s Eternals (2021) and the singer had also created the chart-topping track ‘With You’ for the K-drama Our Blues. Leader RM’s song ‘Fantastic’ was part of Marvel’s Fantastic Four (2015). Vocal line members V and Jin have also been a part of the OSTs of popular K-dramas like Hwarang and Itaewon Class.
