So far, the second chapter of BTS’ journey has been a wild rollercoaster ride. We’re getting new music, world tours, album announcements, brand endorsements, and so many broken records one after the other that it’s becoming hard to keep track. Each member has been busy exploring solo projects that give fans a glimpse of how brilliantly different they are from each other as artists.

While members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, and Jimin have already released solo music and albums of their own, fans have been waiting to see what the two youngest members, V and Jungkook, have been working on and we might be getting closer to know what Jungkook has in store for us.

Fresh off of breaking the Internet with his appointment as the brand ambassador for Calvin Klein (along with an incredible photoshoot), Jungkook was recently spotted making his way to Los Angeles for an undisclosed project.

Later, former BigHit CEO Bang Si-hyuk, AKA Bang PD, shared glimpses of what the Golden Maknae is up to in LA on his Instagram.

The singer can be seen posing with the producer and Scooter Braun at a recording studio which belonged to Andrew Watt. In one of the clips shared by Bang PD, Jungkook could be seen recording something in the background.

Now while this was enough to get fans into a frenzy about the potential oncoming of JJK1, the tentative title given to Jungkook’s first album, some eagle-eyed ARMYs noticed that it’s the same studio where Justin Bieber has been recording for the past few years.

The presence of Braun, who works closely with Bieber, and the fact that the two artists now belong under the same label Hybe was enough to make fans connect the dots and arrive at the conclusion that we might be getting a collab between the two mega-popular singers.

Braun captioned the picture with Jungkook with a cryptic “It’s always fun to witness history”, and added, “This is a BIG one.”

Is he confirming the two artists’ collaboration on a song? Does this mean there’s a potential of Jungkook X Ariana Grande too? Guess we’ll have to just wait and find out!
