All Quiet on the Western Front
Based on the 1929 novel of the same name, the movie is about the horrific realities of war. It follows the life of an idealistic young boy who enlists to serve in the army when war breaks out in Germany in 1914. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
This Marvel movie has been nominated for four Oscars, including one nod for Angela Bassett for Best Supporting Actress. It’s a sequel to the 2018 hit Black Panther and focuses on the leaders of Wakanda trying to protect their nation in the aftermath of King T’Challa’s death.

The Elephant Whisperers
Aside from ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR being nominated for ‘Best Song’ at the Oscars, two Indian documentaries are also up for an award during the night. While Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes is not available to be streamed in India at the moment, you can watch The Elephant Whisperers by Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Monga on Netflix. The documentary is about the bond that develops between a couple and an orphaned baby elephant who was entrusted into their care. Gonsalves spent five years following the family for the documentary.
