Harry Styles Is Going To Make Grammys 2023 Super Special

The Grammy Awards are called ‘music’s biggest night’ for a reason! The first slate of performers for the 2023 Grammys has been unveiled, and the list includes Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Lizzo, and many more of your favorite artists.

On January 25, the Recording Academy confirmed eight artists and current nominees who will grace the stage for this year’s show: Bad Bunny, Lizzo, Steve Lacy, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Sam Smith, and Kim Petras.

Styles was unveiled as the ninth performer in a commercial that aired during the fourth quarter of the Bengals vs. Chiefs NFL game on January 29. The singer’s 2023 Grammys performance serves as the cherry on top to what has easily become his international breakout moment. Last May, he released Harry’s House, his critically acclaimed third studio album, which is currently nominated for six titles: Record of the Year (‘As It Was’); Album of the Year (Harry’s House); Song of the Year (‘As It Was’); Best Pop Solo Performance (‘As It Was’), a category he won at the 2021 Grammy Awards; Best Pop Vocal Album (Harry’s House); and Best Music Video (‘As It Was’).

Out of this group of performers so far, Styles and Brandi Carlile hold the most 2023 nominations with a whopping seven each. Mary J. Blige is close behind with six, Lizzo with five, Steve Lacy with four, Bad Bunny and Luke Combs with three, and Sam Smith and Kim Petras (who is a first-time nominee) with one for their inescapable collab ‘Unholy.’

Following Beyoncé’s unprecedented special performance in Dubai, one question has begun to make the rounds online: will Beyoncé be performing at the 2023 Grammys? Reports suggest that “talks with show producers are ongoing for a possible onstage appearance” from Bey at the Grammys. The singer is the most nominated artist at this year’s Grammys, with a total of 9 nominations. These 9 nods make Beyoncé tied for the record for most nominations in Grammys history, a number she shares with her husband Jay-Z: 88.

Make sure to catch Styles‘ unforgettable performance and many other special moments at the 2023 Grammys, airing live Sunday, February 5, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT from Los Angeles, California. The show will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
